As per the latest information from our sources at Black Sea, CIS steel export price dynamics for longs and flats is moving into opposite directions.
Billet price is rather stable amid weak demand and offers of semis are not going below USD 515 per tonne FOB despite buyer’s indication of interest at lower level. Moreover, recent offers for January sound even higher
Finished longs are facing similar trend, but offers also dipped a little bit comparing to the previous week.
Finished flat producers are trying to push up the prices by USD 5 per tonne to USD 10 per tonne
