It's reported that the Taiwanese rerolling mills including Quintain Steel and Yieh Hsing will release list prices for wire rods for July after China Steel Corp. (CSC) announced to remain its list prices for electric furnace (EF) Al-killed wire rods unchanged for July. Earlier, CSC announced to remain its list prices for EF Al-killed wire rods unchanged at NT$20,800/ton for July. The actual selling prices are at NT$19,800~NT$20,300/ton. Industry sources predicted that the rerolling mills might remain list price for wire rods unchanged for July, in spite of weak demand and lower raw material prices It's learned that the spot iron ore prices have dipped to US$114~US$115/ton recently.
